25 in 25

I've never done a link-up before, so I'm not 100% sure on the protocal, but here it is anyways....I turn 25 in a little over a month. ...I found this originally over on Life of Annie G and it looks like she found it at Living in Yellow...I was excited about this because I am definitely a goal oriented gal, and I love that this will hopefully keep me accountable. So here's my 25 in 25, basically, a list of 25 things I want to do in my 25th year of life!
1. Join a wine club...on a recent vacation we went to a wine tasting, and really enjoyed ourselves. A goal for this year is to join a wine club, where we can learn about different wines and enjoy some tastings.

2. Have a date night once a week....We don't have kids, but somehow, still rarely have time to go out on the town just us.
3. Go on a spontaneous trip...I mean literally pack a bag and leave Friday night, and go wherever the wind takes us.
4. Decide whether this is the year we will start a family.
5. Expand my design services, whether this means into a full service design business, or expanding this blog.
6. Learn to really cook...This might mean taking a class, or just simply teaching myself. Also, learning to cook healthy and for only 2.
7. Get organized, especially our ridiculously cluttered attic. This is huge for me because I am not a naturally organized person. In fact, I am a generally messy person, which for whatever reason usually surprises people.
8. Finally decide on, and buy a new car...I am an extremely indecisive person, and have been car shopping for over 6 months...one day I'll decide.
9. Cut my hair...I've had medium to long hair practically my whole life, and have always wanted a shorter cute cut. Something like this maybe...
10. Finally design my bedroom. Our bedroom is uber boring, so look for some posts to come about finally decorating it.
11. Finish my online design classes.
12. Purge...We have too much stuff...I would like to give away/sell/throw out 500 items out of our home. Seems like a lot, but if you think about all the little stuff that we keep in junk drawers and dressers, it will add up fast.
13. Take more pictures...It makes me sad, how little pictures me and Race have compiled over 10 years. We need pictures, from things other than our wedding.
14. Create a budget...and actually stick to it. We recently realized, the ridiculous amounts of money we spend, especially dining out (hopefully #6 will help us with this. ) ...We actually wrote out a budget last night, and I think we will be able to stick to it...
15. Do one random act of kindness a week.
16. Take a stay-cation...We just got back from vacation so this will probably be later in the year, but I would love for both of us to take at least 5 days off of whatever we have going on and just stay home.
17. Totally stole this one from like 5 other blogs..Reach 100 followers on this little blog of mine. I only have 38 now, so if you are a reader, please become a follower!
18. See a broadway show during the holidays...hopefully Wicked again.

19. Go to an apple orchard/pumpkin patch in the fall.
20. Go on a hike...once again in the fall. We use to go hiking at least once a month, but again the weather has kept us from keeping up on this one.
21. Try something new at least one weekend every month, a cool festival or new food maybe...This was my new years resolution, and it lasted about 2 months before I fell off the wagon, so let's try it again.
22. Choose a color and finally paint my front door!
23.Get in shape...I started a healthier lifestyle about 3 months ago, and for the most part I am proud of how well I've done. I've been exercising at least 5 days a week, whether that's a 30 min. walk with the hubby, or an intense workout, and I'd like to keep it up and focus a little more on the quality of these workouts.
24. Design my house freely...I worry too much what people think and would love to learn to design my home  in whatever way I want, without worrying about outsider's opinions.
25. Learn to breathe, enjoy life, and take each day as it comes....easier said than done...
What do you guys want to accomplish this year?
